In the year 2022, producer Vinod Bhanushali announced the film Sher Singh Rana with actor Vidyut Jamwal. The film is based on the life of Sher Singh Rana, who brought back the ashes of Prithviraj Chauhan, the last Hindu emperor, from Afghanistan. However, since the announcement, work on this film has not progressed yet. Now there are reports that this film has been shelved. At the same time, Vidyut has also started working on other films. In a conversation with Dainik Jagran, Vidyut says, ‘We have not started work on Sher Singh Rana yet. Its producer is my friend, he has stopped work on that film for some time now. Will start that film at the right time. Currently I am shooting a film of AR Murugadoss. He is my mentor, because the first film I did in South Indian cinema was with him. With AR Murugadoss’ film, Vidyut is also joining the list of artists doing pan-India films. He said, ‘I was thinking for a long time that a pan India film should be done. Now I am doing that with AR Murugadoss.’
