If we learn from the mistakes of the past and move forward in the right direction in life, then they do not remain just mistakes but become important lessons of life. Actor Rithvik Dhanjani of the web series ‘Cartel’ and ‘Half Love Half Arrange’ also believes something similar.
Rithvik Dhanjani says, ‘People say that the past sometimes gives wounds and sometimes lessons. I believe that there is a lesson in the wounds received from the past. The past only teaches us. As humans, it is our job to see what we learned from it and how much we tried to apply it in our future life. I am not what I was ten years ago, because I learned from my past and then tried not to repeat those mistakes. Like if someone has cheated me and then he asks me for help again, then I will tell him that sorry friend, I do not feel like helping you, because my past experience has been bad.’
Talking about the difference between love between 20 and 30 years of age and love after 30, Ritwik says, ‘After crossing the age of 30, what we don’t want becomes more important than what we want. What things we are not comfortable with. We get this lesson between the age of 20 and 30. If a person is a little smart and quick-witted, then he learns the lesson quickly. Some people are still looking for the answer to this question even after the age of 30, what do they not want? Once you get the answer to this question, you start working for those things that really matter in life.’
