Sometimes from a marketing perspective, sometimes according to our beliefs, there are different reasons behind deciding the date of the film from its Muhurat to its release. Nearly seven years after directing Shah Rukh Khan in the film Raees, filmmaker Rahul Dholakia has made the film Agni with Divyendu Sharma, Pratik Gandhi and Saiyami Kher. The film will be released on Amazon Prime Video on December 6. Talking about choosing December 6, Rahul says, ‘The respect that firefighters get in western countries, I have not seen it here.
So I thought let’s do some research, when I came to know about their life, work and selfless service in the research, I felt that this story is worth telling. We started shooting for this film on August 6, 2022, the shooting ended on October 6 of the same year. The first cut of the film went for editing on December 6, 2022. My mother’s birth date is on December 6, so I am releasing my film on December 6. I have done everything regarding the film in a planned manner.
