The film Stree 2, which was released on 15 August, has become the highest grossing Hindi film, beating Jawan. Jawan was released in Hindi as well as Telugu and Tamil. Overall, the film earned Rs 640.25 crore at the domestic box office. Jawan earned Rs 582.31 crore in Hindi. Stree 2, which was released only in Hindi last month, is still earning well. Till Tuesday, the total earnings of Stree 2 have reached Rs 586 crore. With this, it has become the highest grossing Hindi film till date. On this occasion, the film’s production company Madic shared this news on X and wrote, ‘She is Stree and she finally did it. – The best No. 1 Hindi film of India. A big thanks to all the fans for creating this history with us. Stree 2 is still running successfully in theatres. Come to the theatre, let’s create some new records.’
