Actress Richa Chadha and actor Ali Fazal have become producers with the film Girls Will Be Girls. Their film will be released on digital platform Amazon Prime Video on December 18. Richa is happy with this. She says, ‘When a person sits at home and watches a film, he does not think whether he will watch a commercial film or art, whether the budget of the film will be five crores or 100 crores. We always wanted to make something different from these categories. All the film festivals in which we have received awards for this film were audience choice awards, which means that independent cinema can also be entertaining. I am happy with the release on the digital platform, it reduces the pressure on independent producers like us.’
