While director Amit Rai of the film OMG 2 is going to make a film on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with actor Shahid Kapoor, on Tuesday, Kantara film actor Rishab Shetty also shared the look of his new film The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on X. This film is being produced by Sandeep Singh. Rishab wrote on X, ‘It is an honor for us to present the saga of India’s pride, warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This is not just a film, it is an honor to a warrior who despite adverse circumstances challenged the mighty Mughal Empire and created a legacy that can never be forgotten.’ There are reports that Rishab was Sandeep’s first choice for this film. Technicians from all over the world will be associated with the film to work on the visual effects and music of this film, which will be released globally on January 21 in the year 2027. Currently, Rishabh is working on Kantara’s prequel Kantara A Legend Chapter 1.
