Hindustani 2 Zero Tolerance, the sequel of the 1996 film Hindustani (Indian in Tamil), is ready after many hurdles and ups and downs. In the film, actor Kamal Haasan will once again be seen in the role of a general. The tagline of this pan-India film, which is releasing on July 12, is Zero Tolerance. On Tuesday, at the trailer launch in Mumbai, Kamal Haasan spoke about the issue of zero tolerance in society, saying, “I am a big fan of Gandhiji. People say that he taught tolerance, but I am not a fan of tolerance. Whatever you have to be tolerant of in society, is a headache. Whatever is a headache for society, there should be zero tolerance for it. Find a cure for it and remove it.” During this, Kamal Haasan said about films that question the government on corruption, “The problem of raising questions against the established government has been there since the British era. People used to make such films even then. We will continue making such films no matter who is at the top of the regime.
