Atul Kulkarni sees the influence of Indian classical music in the music of the entire world. He says, ‘I was in America a few days ago. There I met a great music connoisseur. When he came to know about me that I am connected to India and cinema, he first played me the signature tune of the Hollywood film James Bond. Then he asked me if I knew that this tune of James Bond is based on Indian classical music. I was shocked to know this. It is not necessary that the way we see our classical music, it should be like that. Music adapts to different situations and moods. After listening to him, I felt proud of Indian classical music.’
