The general perception about the film industry is that star kids get opportunities easily. However, Shakti Kapoor’s daughter Shraddha Kapoor says that her father was in films, so she had to work harder. During the Red Sea International Film Festival, Shraddha said, ‘My father had no film background. He was from a garments and textile background. He came to Mumbai from Delhi to become an actor. He had started from the grassroots level, so he ensured that this journey is not easy for me and whatever work I get, it should come through my hard work. I often keep asking him about my role whether I should do it or not. He always says that you have to decide it yourself.’
